Revd. Dr. Olawoye: God’s General @ 75 calls for Unity among Christians




The founder of the foremost faith denomination, Faith Bible Church Worldwide, Revd. Dr. O.O. Olawoye has described the unity of the body of Christ as essential ingredient for the progress and development of the nation.

 He specifically noted that if Nigeria will move forward, there is need for unity in the body of Christ.

The revered man of God who clocked 75 years on Saturday, 23rd June, 2018 announced his determination to devote life and ministry to ensure that the body of Christ unite by supporting Kingdom based activities irrespective of denomination.

Olawoye who is the convener of the just concluded Healing Cross Conference expressed displeasure at the alarming rate of hatred and disunity among Christians especially the anointed men of God.

While addressing other men of God a pre-healing cross conference meeting, Revd. Olawoye maintained that the unity of the body of Christ in Nigeria will put an end to socio-economic and security problems confronting the nation.

He charged the servants of God to stop nursing grudges against one another disclosed such attitude is one of the devil strategies to destroy the work of the Kingdom of God and cause distraction for the heavenly minded people.

Olawoye further explained that, there should be no rancor in the body Christ because the people belong to God and the harvest is much more than what one man can handle therefore called for collaborations that will pull down the forces of darkness against the spreading of the gospel and winning souls for Christ.

Oyo governorship aspirant kicks against thuggery, says One out of hundred succeed



As the 2019 general elections gathers momentum, a leading governorship aspirant and member of the National Assembly has urged Nigerian youths to shun any act of brigandage before, during and after the elections in the interest of their future and generations to come.

The lawmaker representing Lagelu-Akinyele Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives Abuja noted that not everybody will benefit from thuggery adding that only one out hundred succeed in life, he therefore advise youths to engage in productive activities.

Hon. Sugar stated this while commissioning multimillion naira ultramodern Health Centre in Ibadan, the lawmaker expressed shock on the astronomical rate of hooligans and muggers in the society.

The Chairman, House Committee on Rural and Urban Development vowed and promised to personally arrest any hoodlums around him and hand such over to security agencies accordingly.

He highlighted various opportunity available for youths and idle minded person to engage with as provided and sponsored by the Olatoye Sugar Foundation and get busy for the future, such ICT and Future Farmers trainings.

Hon. Sugar further promised to engage any brilliant innovations and support laudable ideas from the youth instead of using them as instrument of destruction to the society.

He announced that most of newly constructed public facilities would be source of employment for the youths who care to work and personally responsible for financial implications.

A Faith based denomination, Faith Bible Church International Headquarters and Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) Akobo-Olorunda Zone has put up a Destiny changing revival for the people of Ibadan and it’s environs.

The Healing Cross Conference is tagged “ By His Stripes” and theme text is from the book of 1 Peter 2:24.

The revival according the to the Chairman Planning Committee who is also the Chairman CAN/PFN Akobo zone, Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Ayodele will start on Tuesday 26th to Thursday 28th June 2018 by 5:00 pm daily.

Revd. Ayodele disclosed that the venue for the Alobo healing conference is the Cathedral of Faith Bible Church, 1, Faith Way, Iyana Olopa,  Akobo, Ibadan.

The Chairman further explained that the Lord has prepared His servants along with the conveners of the program, Rev. (Dr.) & Rev. (Prof.) O.O. Olawoye to minister the Word of God powerfully to change lives positively.

He called on the people living in and around Ibadan especially those within and outside Akobo to come out and receive healing, deliverance, salvation, fruitfulness and other good things of live.

A governorship aspirant and the Chairman, House Committee on Rural and Urban Development in the House of Representatives, Abuja. Hon. Dr. Olatoye Temitope Sugar has promised to give culture and tourism sector greatest degree of attention if elected as the next governor of Oyo State in the forthcoming 2019 gubernatorial elections.

Hon. Sugar who is the Aare Agba’saga of Yorubaland stated when the staff and students of Isabatudeen Girls’ Grammar School 2 paid a courtesy visit on the occasion of Yoruba Cultural Day.

Yoruba Cultural DAY is an annual cultural activities set aside by the school authority where both the staff and the students dressed in Yoruba Cultural attire as a way to promote the heritage and beauty of Yoruba dressing and tradition.

The federal lawmaker in his response to the guests, advised the students not neglect their culture and tradition maintained that if given opportunity to serve the state come 2019, he do everything to uplift culture and tourism sector not only to generate income but as a way of preserving our heritage for the coming generation.

Hon. Sugar who expressed shock over the systematic fading away of Yoruba language among the present generation, he urged the parents and guidance to allow their children and wards to speak their local dialect fluently by teaching and speaking them in local language.

The governorship aspirant commended the school and appreciated their innovation in teaching learning sector adding Yoruba culture is a very distinct culture with outstanding different from others from the western world  and he called on others schools in the state to emulate Isabatudeen Gorls’ Grammar School 2 as a way of promoting Yoruba culture and tradition.

He later presented some local fabrics and cash gifts to the school.

The management of the school led by the principal, Alhaja Okunade Abosede however thanked the lawmaker for always been there to assist the school and students especially the construction of ultra-modern worship centre within the premises of the school.

The visitors also prayed that God will grant every desire of Hon. Sugar to make Oyo State an enviable state to the world.

A governorship aspirant in the forthcoming 2019 general elections in Oyo State, Hon Olatoye Temitope Sugar will on Wednesday 20th of June, 2018 commission a world class ultra-modern fifty million naira Health Centre as part  dividends  democracy to the people of his constituency and especially the good people of pace setter state at large.

The commissioning of the multi-million naira Health Centre which is located in the heart of agrarian communities of Lagelu local government areas is described as an answer to prayers of the rural dwellers in reduction of maternal mortality rate and treatment of other ailments in the area.

The multi-million naira Health Centre according to the initiator and donour, Hon. Dr. Olatoye Temitope Sugar in pre-commissioning media chat, is a promise kept and delivered in further demonstration of his passion to improve health condition of the masses and transforming lives by bringing smiles to the faces of the people.

The event will also feature distribution of brand new cars to the three traditional chiefs in the area and two effective and efficient youth leaders from the host communities.

Hon Sugar, who is presently a member of the National Assembly representing Lagelu-Akinyele Federal Constituency has over the years made health care delivery one of the cardinal point of his program demonstrating this gesture across nooks and crannies of Oyo State through weekly free health care delivery.

The Chairman, House Committee on Rural and Urban Development in the House of Representatives who is also the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Olatoye Sugar Foundation (OSF), an organization saddled with the responsibilities of giving helping hands to the less privilege in the society including those with critical health conditions, unemployed youths and women, aged and widow are being catered for at the OSF Clinics across the state numbering over hundreds of thousands across the geo-political and ethnicity of the country.

The federal lawmaker assured that all he has been doing is tip of the ice berg adding that if the people of Oyo State give him opportunity to serve them as the state governor come 2019, he will not disappoint them.

The commissioning program is expected to be graced by dignitaries from both within and outside the Oyo state.

Eid-El-Fitr:  Demonstrate lessons of Ramadan, Hon. Sugar task Nigerians

A member of the National Assembly, Hon Olatoye Temitope Sugar on Thursday urged Nigerians to demonstrate and practice lessons leant in the holy Month of Ramadan with determination to move the nation forward.

He charged Nigerians not to be the listeners alone but the doer of the Ramadan sermons.

Hon. Sugar who is the leading governorship aspirant in Oyo state for the forthcoming general elections in 2019 called on Nigerians to cultivate and imbibe culture of giving, love, sharing, patience and service to humanity which are part of the lessons of Ramadan.

The lawmaker presently representing Lagelu-Akinyele Federal Constituency urged Nigerians to maintain peaceful coexisting atmosphere experienced in the month of Ramadan especially before, during and after the 2019 general elections.

He disclosed this in his Eid-El-Fitr message to Nigerians on the celebration marking the end of Ramadan appreciating and thanking Allah for giving many Nigerians the opportunity to witness the beginning and the end of Ramadan.

The lawmaker urged the Muslim ummah not to go back to those attitude they forsook during Ramadan but to turn a new better leave for the progress of the nation and the world at large.

The chairman, House Committee on Rural and Urban Development in the House of Representatives reiterated that there is no alternate for peace and unity, thereby he called on all and sundry to live in peaceful atmosphere with others.

Hon sugar reassured his un-relented support for the wellbeing of the good people Of Lagelu-Akinyele Federal Constituency as well as the genuine desire for the development of Oyo State at large.

He however urged people to ensure they register with INEC and collect their permanent voter’s card to elect people who genuinely have passion towards the development of the people irrespective of tribe, culture or race.

He concluded that, Nigerians should continue to pray for peaceful election and smooth transition in 2019.
