The Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary Ogbomoso, on Friday
announced the extension of her resumption date for academic activities
following the postponement of the governorship and state assembly elections to
March 18.
It would be recalled that the Independent National Electoral
Commission (INEC) had announced a one-week delay of the elections earlier
scheduled for March 11 for reconfiguration of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation
System (BVAS) machines used during the presidential and National Assembly
elections two weeks ago.
In a statement made available by the Seminary Registrar,
Rev. Dr. Dele Oluwole, students and staff were informed of the new resumption
of academic activities in the first-degree awarding institution in Nigeria.
According to him, the resumption date for students both undergraduate
and post-graduate is now Monday March 20, 2023, that despite this extension,
all classes should continue online.
He maintained that the students slated for Defenses should
make themselves available and the Library would be open, so Students can access
needed resources.
He urged all staff are to be at their duty posts to render services
and all students are required to pay up their fees on or before the new
resumption date.
