Ibadan stands still as Ooni, Dogara, Oluwo, Governors, others Commend Hon. Olatoye Sugar at book launch





The ancient city of Ibadan at the weekend stood still as Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunlusi, Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, among other dignitaries honours and commended socio-developmental activities of a member of the National Assembly and the Chairman, House Committee on Rural and Urban Development, House of Representative, Abuja. Hon. Dr. Olatoye Temitope Sugar.

Also, Ondo state governor, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu and his counterpart from Oyo state, Senator Abiola Ajimobi saluted various contributions of Hon. Olatoye Temitope Sugar to the human development especially on education and social welfare in the country.

These and other dignitaries gave their commendations at the two books launch of Hon. Olatoye Sugar titled: ‘They Won't Tell You This About Sugar’ and ‘The Might of An African Youth in Leadership’ held at the Banquet Hall of the prestigious Premier Hotel, Mokola Hill, Ibadan on Friday July 6th, 2018.

Leading other monarchs from Osun state to eulogies Hon. Olatoye Temitope Sugar, the paramount ruler of Iwo kingdom, Oba Abdul-rashed Adewale personally gave the lawmaker unreserved encomium saying he can testify to the good works of Hon. Sugar.

While the Otun Olubadan, Oba, Senatoe Lekan Balogun represented Ibadan emirates at the event along with others sons and daughters of Ibadanland were singing commendation songs for Hon. Olatoye Temitope Sugar.

Among other dignitaries that graced the event includes seasoned politicians, academics, notable and successful gurus in administration, governance and banking sectors including respected royal fathers and friends of the lawmaker from within and outside the country as well as family members



The book They Won't Tell You This About Sugar was co-authored by senior professional journalist, Kola Ilori, a consultant on Media and Publicity, Olatoye Sugar Foundation (OSF) and erudite scholar, Dr. Tunde Amusat, Senior Special Assistance on Information and Strategy, Olatoye Sugar Foundation (OSF) and reviewed by Dr. David Okunlola.

While the second book, The Might of An African Youth in Leadership was written by Hon. Dr. Olatoye Temitope Sugar, MHR and reviewed by the Sub-Dean, Post Graduate School, University of Ibadan. Prof. Kehinde Kester.

The event featured two billion naira fund raising for OSF Community Development in order to support and push forward various philanthropic activities of Olatoye Sugar Foundation (OSF) with intention to do more for the sick, less privileged, widow, persons living with disabilities and provision of infrastructural facilities in some critical communities.
In his welcoming address, Hon. Dr. Olatoye Temitope Sugar called on wealthy personalities in our society to join him in poverty eradication campaign to liberate Nigeria.

He further assured that he will not relent on ensuring that lives are transform to the extent that and average Nigerian can sleep comfortably.
