CSO, Media practitioners celebrate Mogaji Gbenga Opadotun @ 60



Civil Society Organizations, media practitioners and religious leaders have joined millions of Nigerian all over the world to congratulate Mogaji Gbenga Opadotun popularly known as 'Ekuro' on the occasion of his Diamond jubilee anniversary.

Opadotun who is one of the most revered journalist in Nigeria who devoted his career life for the development of human talent and societal advancement has been receiving tons of congratulatory messages all around the world.

The Executive Director, Centre for African Dignity and Development (CADD) Dr. Grace Jopp described Chief Opadotun as a straight forward person who has been steadfast on assisting human race to achieve potentials.

Ekuro has mentored a lots of people who are achievers in their different fields of choosing careers maintained that he deserved to be celebrated.

In his congratulatory message, the Deputy Director, Advancement and Public Communications, the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomoso, Rev. Seyi Ojelade described former two term Chairman of Nigerian Union of Journalist, Oyo State Council as most articulate, meticulous and hospitable media chief he has come across.

He further described Opadotun as a unifier who always work hard toward the unity and progress of all members of the NUJ both the Chapel and Council levels.

Ojelade said, "My Chairman is a mobilizer and goal getter who always encourage younger generations to think beyond ordinary. He always advise some of us to know what you are doing and never to give up in life".

He always demonstrates good quality leadership at every given opportunity and ensure justice, equity and fairness to all and sundry.
